Women’s Szamotuły costume – the color blue dominated the costume worn by young ladies, hence the corset and apron are made of blue satin, the apron is additionally hand-embroidered, a tulle cap tied under the chin, a linen blouse finished with lace at the cuffs and a fabric skirt. For married women, a Szamotuły caftan – rurok, a skirt made of hand-woven striped cloth, a cotton apron and a red hellion decorated with haberdashery.

Men’s Szamotuły costume – a shirt made of cotton canvas, some made of red woolen cloth with metal buttons, a caftan made of black or navy woolen fabric on a cotton lining, fabric trousers, a hat on the head.
