Białobocki – Pomeranian costume

The Białobok costume (region of north-western Pomerania) for men consists of a cotton shirt, a vest made of red cloth finished with navy blue piping and a coat – a sukmana made of black woolen cloth with grey piping and grey sleeve lapels. A fur hat is worn on the head.

The Białobok costume for women consists of a woolen, most often red skirt decorated with brocade at the bottom, a white cotton apron finished with narrow lace at the bottom, a bodice made of brocade and a woolen, most often red caftan. A pointed cap made of the same materials was worn on the head.
