Women’s Biłgoraj costume – the basis of women’s clothing was linen elements, such as a blouse decorated with embroidery on the collar and cuffs, a skirt, an apron decorated with embroidery, and a linen, embroidered brim worn over the head and shoulders. The headgear was a chamelka, hidden under the brim, worn by married women. Single women traditionally wore wreaths.

Men’s Biłgoraj costume – the traditional male outfit consists of a brown cloth hat decorated with fringes, a russet coat made of cloth of the same color, a linen shirt, and cloth trousers.
